Our Approach to the LSAT Every test preparation company and virtually every person who has ever studied for the LSAT has a different approach to studying. At Bell Curves, we believe that the LSAT tests a specific set of skills that can be taught, learned and practiced. Our team of experienced fully-trained LSAT instructors are prepared to give you those skills. It is common for test preparation companies to explain that the LSAT, like the GRE or SAT, is just another test that is completely unrelated to one's course of study. Why does someone seeking to attend graduate school in English need to be tested on his or her ability to calculate the area of triangle? However, we at Bell Curves believe that the LSAT is different. The skills that the LSAT teaches - analytical skills, aggressive reading skills - are useful, not only for law students, but for lawyers. Law schools can learn whether or not a student is well informed about the world around her and her ability to work hard by looking at the student's transcripts, personal statement and references. However, the LSAT specifically tests a student's ability to understand a situation without being well informed beforehand. This ability is not innate. Anyone can learn to be analytical and to read aggressively - all he or she needs is the right tools.

My instructor's perception of the LSAT not only covers the test content, but what the human mind and emotions shouldn't succomb to. Thats showed me that he has worked at the exam from many different levels.
